Your cover, made simple
Our program is covered for eligible HCF Gold members. Based on your answers, you meet the clinical criteria for our program. Book your first appointment, and we’ll confirm your membership and program cover with HCF in the background.
Your program costs you nothing. The only costs are any medication you collect from your local pharmacy, and most of it is PBS-subsidised.
You’ll meet your dedicated nurse, and your program begins.
It happens behind the scenes, and you don’t need to do anything.
Prepare, detox at home, then get 11 months of support.

Your care, step by step
Our program follows the clinical guideline for alcohol recovery: a safe detox followed by long-term aftercare. The difference is that you do it from home, with the same clinicians the whole way through.

Meet your dedicated nurse and set your goal, whether that’s stopping or cutting down.
Your named doctor plans your detox. Your nurse checks in with you every day to keep you safe and comfortable.
The same nurse stays with you all year, with ongoing support to help you build confidence, stay connected and navigate difficult days.
12 months of care · $0 program cost
Support that feels personal
No repeating your story to someone new. And if the fit isn’t right, you can switch.
Most clients need less time off work than they would with an in-clinic detox. We ask you to tell a close friend or family member and your GP, but no one else.
Eleven months of aftercare, because detox alone isn’t enough.
Stopping completely or cutting down, we build the plan around you.
Our team is led by GPs and nurses with years of experience in alcohol and drug care.

“Detoxing at home gave me space to heal, rebuild my confidence, and do it all with dignity intact.”
“A year on, I’m present, motivated, and living a life I never thought possible. My only regret is not calling sooner.”
“Clean Slate was my last hope. My [clinician] believed in me from day one, and for the first time in years I started to believe in myself too.”
Individual experiences and outcomes vary.
